Studio Ghibli Event Poster

This project focused on designing an event poster in InDesign, centered on the annual Studio Ghibli Fest, a nationwide event celebrating the films of Studio Ghibli in theaters. The goal was to create a visually engaging poster that remained true to the brand’s established aesthetic while clearly communicating the event details. I worked with the recognizable Studio Ghibli color palette of blue and hints of yellow to maintain consistency with the tone and identity of the studio company. While still incorporating dynamic elements such as staggered film titles to create rhythm and movement. Subtle overlaps were used throughout the composition to introduce depth and visual interest, giving the design a more layered and immersive feel. Photoshop was used to refine and prepare image assets, while Illustrator was used to recreate the top event logo, ensuring a cohesive and polished visual identity. The final result is a balanced poster that reflects the simplicity and atmosphere of Studio Ghibli’s visual language while effectively promoting the event in a clear and engaging way.
